Lake: Glendo Reservoir

Glendo questions

Post By: FishingApex      Posted: 8/1/2017 12:14:38 AM     Points: 4875
Once again I'm leaving my comfort zone and heading up into Wyoming to try fishing. This time we are headed up to Glendo, it's this weekend. Just a couple of questions if y'all don't mind...

1: what typical baits should we try?

2: what type of bottom or structure should we look for?

3: bottom bouncers or crankbaits?

I get it if not a lot want to share, just hoping for a little info. We will be there hopefully Thursday thru Sunday.

Thanks for any and all info y'all want to share. It's much appreciated!!

Thanks. I picked up a fish-n-map of the lake today and I'm going to study it to try to get a good starting point.

Both bottom bouncers and pulling cranks will work, I would try the bottom bouncers in the more muddy to sandy areas between 12-18 ft of water and cranks along the bluffs and dam areas, don't forget to try some night fishing in the shallower water with shallow running cranks. Good luck keep us posted.
