Here is a picture off of the Boat ramp at Coulter Bay. As you can see there is some water showing through the ice. Also notice that the ice is looking candled. The ice is pulling away from shore all around the lake, and the wind has pushed some ice up on shore. At this rate it won't be long before you will be able to launch boats. We will keep you advised of the conditions as they change. Be patient! Spring is just around the corner.

Fishermen, we have good news and bad news. The bad news is that ice fishing is really over for the season, unless mother nature really sends us a curve ball. The good news is that the ice is off the lake, so all you fishermen with boats eager to get on the lake are now able to do so. We have put the boat docks in the water at Coulter Bay, Pat's Point, and the Marina. As of noon today we were not comfortable with putting the dock in at Wind Creek as there was a large ice flow still just off the shoreline. We believe the wind will push the small block of ice out of the cove in a couple of hours, so we may still get it the dock into the water today. Be aware that there are still a couple of ice flows out there, and that there is still some ice in the coves. Good luck fishing!!
