Biography: I started fishing when i was around 5 years old. I fished mostly with my grandpa back then. We fished for bass, perch, and catfish. As i got older my dad fished with me a lot also. He was a big bass fisherman, as his friend made bug -a- boo lures back then. I fished a lot of farm ponds growing up. When i got out of college i fished some bass tournaments, but really did not like bass fishing that much.
I found saltwater fishing about then and put a lot of time into it. I like fishing the coast since you are never sure what you are going to pull in. I still fish a few tournaments on the coast every year.
The last few years i have been fishing catfish tournaments. I really enjoy them. One thing i don't like is that most of the catfish tournaments now, you must fish for bluecats if you want to win. I like catfishing, not going after only the bluecats. My wife will fish with me if i am not tournament fishing and do not get to early of a start. She likes to catch fish, any kind as long as they are biting.
I do a lot of traveling now and fish all different kinds of water and for all different kinds of fish. I usually get in around 120+ days a year of fishing.
