Noticed on the cdow stocking report that Webster lake was stocked pretty recently, so my dad and I took a trip over there to see if we could get some bites close to home. Using power bait and salmon eggs we managed about 10 trout in 2 hours. They were all about 10-13 inches, nothing great, but it's always nice to get some action without having to drive for an hour.

I remember when it was the old lake/pond and the Asian families with sit there all day and pull Blue Gills out every cast for their restaurant. Always wish i had that luck. We asked one time and they used some bread mixture. Wish i knew what it was now. I grew up around that lake.

good to know. I might take my mom there since she lives literally behind the lake.
I caught some nice perch there recently.

Took my nephew out and had a great time. Caught em off the bottom with worms, pow bait and worms and bobbers. Used to nail em with Kastmasters but no luck. Still good place for the young one to show his uncle how its done.
