Barry Reynolds Barry Reynolds is credited as one of the leading warmwater anglers in the sport of fly fishing. An author, TV and video personality, professional guide, and teacher, Barry has propelled the sport of fly fishing into new realms like no other.
Barry is a true master of fly fishing with over twenty-five years experience guiding fly fishers to angling destinations all over the world including Belize, Brazil, Guatemala, Bahamas, Alaska, and Canada - just to name a few. Barry is a certified casting instructor and master fly tier. Excelling in all fields Barry is a pro-staff member with many elite companies of the fly fishing world.
Barry currently serves as a pro-staff member with Ross Reels and Ross Worldwide, Rio Fly Lines, Smith Action Optics, and Simms. He is also a contract tier with Umpqua Feather Merchants designing new and unique patterns for the fish he pursues. His flies are sold worldwide.
Barry’s love for fly fishing and the outdoors is evident in the numerous written articles and photographs he has sold to magazines such as American Angler, Wild on the Fly, Warm Water Angler, and Southwest Fly Fishing. Barry has also co-authored three books including Pike on the Fly, Carp on the Fly, Beyond Trout, and most recently in solo, Mastering Pike on the Fly, and Fly Fishing with Barry Reynolds “Bass to Walleye”.
In addition to his writing skills Barry has made more than twenty guest appearances on a variety of outdoor television and radio shows. In 1994 Barry wrote and directed his first video The Flyrodders Guide to Pike, followed in 2006 Barry completed production of “The Fly Rodder’s Guide to Carp”. Most recently Barry completed and released two action packed DVD’s “In Pursuit of the Water Wolf” and “Urban Warfare”. Barry’s latest project “Getting Ripped” is now in production and features fly fishing opportunities from around the world.
These and other video projects has led Barry Reynolds, T.G. Lewis, Travis Bush, and Robert Shaw to form their own production company BT2 Production Inc. BT2 has produced three high quality and highly entertaining films with two more in production.
Barry’s following and continued growth in popularity with the angling public has led him to the seminar circuit during the winter months. Traveling the country he entertains and educates the public in all that fly fishing has to offer. Barry is also the Actor/Host and Producer of "The Barry Reynolds Fly Fishing Journal" that aired on the Altitude Sports. Barry is constantly looking for new and unique ways to push the limits in his fly fishing adventures.
