Biography: Hi ! I am in my mid 40's and I have been fishing most of my life. I target Walleye, but also fish for Largemouth and Smallmouth bass, trout, catfish, and crappie. I fish both from shore and boat, and fish daylight and nighttime hours. I live in the Denver metro area, and fish 3-5 times per week at least. My son often accompanies on my fishing outings, and it is an extreme joy of mine when he catches fish! During the off season, I spend my time fixing my tackle, reading, and doing extensive online research as well as talking to knowledgeable people about my targeted fish and forage, patterns, etc. I feel that this research helps me to better understand the whys and wheres of these fish. It also helps me because I am an answers kind of guy. I write a Blog for Fish Explorer about fishing and boating and also appear on radio frequently.
I am a member of the Matzuo America pro staff, the Colorado Walleye Association, a WFN Ambassador, a Life Member of the NAFC, as well as Lake Skipper of Bingham Reservoir and Salisbury Park. I have received Master Angler awards from the state of Colorado and from In Fisherman for multiple species.
