Changes to Boat Ramp Hours at Horsetooth Reservoir, Carter Lake

LOVELAND, Colo. – Starting in September, hours of operation will start to change for boat ramps at Horsetooth Reservoir and Carter Lake.
Hours of operation at Horsetooth Reservoir boat ramps beginning Thursday, Sept. 7:
Horsetooth Reservoir County Park South Bay ramp: 6 a.m.-10 p.m., 7 days a week Inlet Bay ramp: 6 a.m.-10 p.m., 7 days a week Satanka ramp: Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday open Thursday 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Hours of operation at Carter Lake boat ramps beginning Sunday, Sept. 10:
Carter Lake County Park North Ramp: 6 a.m.-10 p.m., 7 days a week South Shore: Closed for season North Pines: 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday The South Shore boat ramp will be closed starting Sept. 10 to accommodate an upcoming renovation of the South Shore Campground. This ramp will likely remain closed through early summer of 2018.
Boat ramp hours for Pinewood Reservoir follow those for Carter Lake and will remain 6 a.m.-10 p.m., 7 days a week in September. Pinewood Reservoir works on a boat seal system. Boats need to be inspected before coming to Pinewood Reservoir. A boat can be pre-inspected at nearby Carter Lake or other boat ramps in Colorado, where the boater will receive a boat seal and seal receipt, which are required to launch at Pinewood.
