Fishing photo apps?

Post By: mckinzie      Posted: 9/13/2017 3:12:08 PM     Points: 14
I just downloaded the 'Fishbrain' app to upload pictures. I like it, but was wondering if any of you guys had any apps to suggest. I like to post pictures and get info on other spots from other fisherman. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Mike

Thoes type of apps are hotspot apps imo. They show the fish and list the body of water there taken from. Be careful not to Hotspot yourself.

goose is right. be careful.
your best bet is here, or on cofisherman, or some other forums fishing related. & there again you run into the same thing.
or facebook "groups" fishing related.
however on the sites you can control what you expose, lures, spots etc.

^^^ Agree...posting fish pics for "attaboys" is one thing, but be careful about revealing your secret honey holes (even in the background of your pics). Lurkers WILL invade your space... in droves.

If you're taking pictures with your cell phone.....you can locate the lat and long via embedded code on your pic. Unless your "location is off" anybody can find out where you're catching the pigs.........if I can do it, you better be damed sure there are others.....this works on Insta and FB photos taken with your cell phone.

@wildtrout I'm pretty sure Instagram and fb deliberately remove this type of info from your shared info. Pretty concerning if not...

it's embedded into the data i'm sure just hidden per settings. 'they' have to know where you are all the time.
