Not a bad day

Was out at Brush on Tuesday the 16th fishing near the dam. Day started off slow but picked up pretty nice. Got a few yellow perch, biggest one about 13". The cats were playing too, but none bigger than 15". The hit was on the bottom with nightcrawler, rigged about 24" off tue bottom. Also caught this beauty, 4lb on a white chatterbait rigged with a black split-tail trailer worm.

Nice LMB!! Didn you release it? Also did you notice any beds, wondering if this warm weather is goong to confuse them and have an early.spawn.

The plan was to release it but it went belly-up after i let her go. Rather than waste it, i took it home. It looked like it already spawned, no eggs or sperm sac.

Sounds like a good day to me. A 13 inch master angler perch! Never seen a perch butter than maybe 8 inches come out of BH.
