Thanks Chad. Would be nice if they were able to be a tad more flexible, but I do understand the underlying money issues.

who do we need to vote out of county office to get these regs changed to ice up / ice out?

Probably more like how much more do you want your park passes and Larimer county taxes to be increased to man the stations for a few more weeks of boating LOL. I'm not going to lie I would love to get my boat up there but I have been fishing my Kayak weekly. Your not missing a ton right now. I've been scratching out a couple bass here and there and have not seen any Walleye activity yet but the water did show 40.0 degrees on the most of the lake last night. I fished all the north section so the two dams and party cove hunting for walleye. Lot of the bait seemed MIA. Guessing it would have been better to go south end instead with the way the wind blew yesterday. Oh well. Haven't heard any fish shallow splashing yet. But it feels like any day now.

Anyone else hooked any walleye yet?

I was up yesterday and the Rangers and a small crowd were being trained in this years ANS inspection processes etc.

I would love for the lake to be open to boating earlier as well. Buoys are out. Docks are still dry but progress is moving towards boating in 11 days!
